Corstorphine Primary School Nursery

The wonderful new nursery was opened in August 2017.

“We are passionate in our belief that all children need the freedom and time to play. The fabulous environment that has been created for our Nursery children at Corstorphine Primary School has enhanced and transformed the learning opportunities on offer.

Our children benefit hugely from the new indoor and outdoor spaces which allow for free-flow play. They can move easily from one area to another and enjoy transporting materials and making links between different areas of the Nursery. The covered area outside is particularly popular and creates a real link between inside and out.

The natural materials and colours within the design of the Nursery have helped create a calming ethos whilst the stimulating environment has helped developed curiosity and creativity. Our children love learning through play and we are very privileged to support this within such an inspiring environment.” – Jackie Bracewell, Depute Headteacher.
