Schools have been keen to change the design and layout of their learning environments to promote more active and collaborative learning styles.

A bright two storey corridor, roof lights let in a lot of daylight. Upholstered seating is in the centre of the ground floor, on the left wall a large floor to ceiling graphic of a forest is on the wall. A glazed balcony is on the first floor.

One wall has blue wallpaper printed with flowers the other wall is painted white with blue accents. Against one wall are two large wooden nooks to sit in. Two children relax to read in the circular nook, resting their backs on cushions. One child lies down on a large cushion in the larger house shaped nook and reads a book. At the far side of the room is a living room set up with an armchair, sofa and wicker chairs in a circle with little coffee tables. In the middle of the room, three boys sit at a table that can split into six individual triangular tables on colourful upholstered cube stools and a plastic chair.
